We won't be having Monday School this year. Here's what we're doing instead. Becky made 8 cards representing different genres. Each week when we go to the library, each of our kids will pick 2 of the cards and will have to find books of those genres to check out. They can also pick out 2 fun books. We adapted this idea from Susan Wise Bauer, but she had each of her kids check out 8 library books every week. However, let's face it, we don't want late fees on 32 library books, and despite our good intentions, we often have late fees.

What a great idea for checking out library books. Congratulations to Abe for reaching 4 feet, and Helen for starting kindergarten.
We just turned in that castle book about 3 weeks ago and we had it for a couple months!
I LOVE the 4 foot mark party!!! So cute, so fun. Love the library book check out plan!! You're such a good mom--kind of makes me feel good that you have library fees too. They have assured me all the money goes to buying new books.
So fun!! I need to move away, and steal all of your fun ideas, and call them my own!!!
You are the supreme super mom, you amaze me!!
