| Here's a photo of the guests at the end of the party. The kids dressed up to varying degrees. The very beautiful White Queen left before we took the photo. The Cheshire Cat deserves special mention. Her dad does auto body detail work for a living and he airbrushed her face using water-soluble paint. He also hot glued her costume together using a purple rug and a black turtleneck. The guests solved the mystery of the missing Alice and played croquet with flamingoes and hedgehogs, but their favorite party game was the old stand-by of statues. |

The food at your party was so clever and amazing looking. I have never thought to layer my meatloaf, although that is how we got Luke to try meatloaf his first time, we called it meat cake and he was all over it.
Happy Birthday Sophie! What a great party, and I loved how some people really got into the costumes.
Your Ronald and Nancy costumes took me back to the first grade when my favorite recess game with a boy named Andy (I think) was playing Ronald and Nancy. We loved to act out the scene when he was shot. He'd crumple up and I'd put my arm around him and call for help.
What a fun party! Happy Birthday to our amazing Soph! We definitely miss having her close by, but we're glad she had such a fun party. That Chesire Cat was pretty incredible!
Oh my goodness! What a marvelous party! I'm so so impressed--Sophie seems so confident and full of purpose. I've been a fan of hers for a long time. LOVE the Reagans for Halloween. Thanks for sharing their love story link.
