| Helen and Gibson were playing with legos Friday morning. Becky couldn't figure out the game they were playing so she asked for them to explain. They were playing fireworks-- they set up legos to represent fountains and mortars and then took turns lighting the fireworks and imagining what the fireworks looked like. |

This post captures well the magic of early childhood.I remember books I loved because of the illustrations. Often when I heard the real story it was flat and boring compared to the story I had imagined. Not that Harry Potter would ever disappoint. Also, I love to find out what my kids are thinking when they play with Legos. It's like a little glimpse inside their heads.
