20 February 2011

Happy Valentine's Day! We celebrated with a candlelight breakfast and homemade Manga valentines.

This week has been very quiet around the house as one person after another has succumbed to a nasty cold.

All of the kids missed a day or two of school. By Saturday they all had cabin fever and were very excited to have the missionaries for dinner. Adding more novelty, Elder K. brought his ukulele and played some music for us. Three of the missionaries in our area play the ukulele. Does this seem like a high percentage?

Sorry to hear about the sickness (we're getting our share here as well), but I did love Helen's quote. I would definitely say that having three ukelele players is highly unusual - bet Abe's loving it. :)

How lovely to have a little personal ukulele concert.
I love Helen's comment. When our kids are sick we almost miss the "naughtiness" because the sickness suppresses their spirited personalities.
Sorry about all the sickness. I hope everyone is feeling better.

I wonder what Helen's idea of being naughty is.
