14 June 2015

Gibson brought home the writing award plaque this week so we could all admire his name on it.  The plaque hangs in the school office.

Tuesday was the last day of school.  Our friends hosted a giant end of school party with a water slide, jump house, DJ, waffle truck and lots and lots of friends.  This is a photo of Helen eating an otter pop.

Here are some kids dancing.  Abe and Helen are towards the middle of the photo.

Gibson liked playing with Owen and Tayvon.

Sofi had a mellower party at home.  She and her friends burned their 2014-2015 schoolwork in the fire pit.

Then they roasted hot dogs on the coals.

We made a summer bingo card to plan fun family activities (with some less fun chores mixed in) and hung it on our refrigerator. We're not sure what would be a good reward for a bingo.  The activities are pretty much their own reward.

We won't be starting on our bingo right away.  We'll be spending the next 2 weeks in the UK.  We're going to try to keep our regular schedule for blog posts, but if we don't, we'll catch up when we get home.

Sofi and her friends are cute. I didn't know she had such a sweet, lovely voice. I enjoyed hearing her sing in sacrament meeting. My little boys immediately stopped being irreverent and had complete attention on the girls.

I love the bingo idea. They look like some fun activities, a summer bucket list almost.
I think your UK trip will make the life-time bucket list.
