14 August 2016

Here's one more photo from Parker's visit.  On Monday night we went to a classical music concert at the Britt.  The program was a nice mix of vocal and instrumental pieces.

After Parker left, we worked on some projects around the house.  Becky painted our garage.  This is a photo of her power washing the garage to prepare it for painting.

Abe went to the pear farm one more time for the season.  Pear picking has officially ended for 2016.  It was over 100 degrees so he and his friends went swimming afterwards.  From the left are Abe, Malakai, Camden and Jake.

Brandan and Gibson worked on assembling ceiling fans for Brandan and Becky's bedroom and our family room.

We picked all the asian pears form our pear tree. Abe counted them and we have 255 pears this year.

Helen's friend, Lucy, invited Helen to go boating with her family on Saturday.

Helen liked riding on the inflatable tube.

Lucy's mom sent us photos from their outing.   Helen had a great time.

Wow, you all have had a full summer! Pears! I love pears...such a blessing to have them in your own backyard. The hammocks look like fun, I think I would like to swing in one and enjoy a good book...perhaps one of the Adventurers Wanted series, The Hobbit or Harry Potter. Love and hugs to all, I can't wait until next week to see what adventures the Hull family are having....
