Our friend, Eddy, is building a wall ball court for the elementary school for his Eagle project. Brandan, Abe and Gibson have all helped. This is a photo of Abe helping dig a hole for one of the support posts.
Our ward youth went ice blocking for mutual this week. It had rained earlier in the day so the grass was extra slick.
Helen was part of a train.
We spent Saturday afternoon at Lake of the Woods.
Brandan was supposed to be in Ireland this weekend. He left on Thursday, but his connecting flight to London was canceled. The airline couldn't get him on another flight to Ireland before Saturday evening, so he spent Thursday night in Phoenix and came home Friday. While it is sad he couldn't make it to his family reunion in Ireland, it wasn't a bad day to spend with him on the lake, watching the sunlight on the water and an osprey fishing.
Gibson loves paddling around in a kayak. He reminds us of Reepicheep in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Helen and Gibson picked Abe up from a dock in the lake and brought him back to shore.
This is a photo of Gibson trying to get warm on the dock. Summer is winding down and we were glad to squeeze a little more sunshine out of it.
