| Abe started piano lessons this week. He now practices the ukulele in the morning and the piano after school. |

| We counted 5 tiny green pears on our pear tree this week. We wonder how many of them will make it until August when we can harvest them? We're feeling oh so lucky we do not have to grow our own food. |

| It's been a cold, wet week. We lit a fire Sunday afternoon and had snacks and a story in front of it-- pretty unusual for a Memorial Day weekend. |

If we had to survive off of what we grew our family would starve.
Abe is one talented kid. I think I burned Spencer out of the piano by starting him too soon.
Sitting around a warm fire, can't beat that, even if it is at the end of May :).
Five pears, that sounds great! We were just happy we got leaves on our fruit trees.
