Gibson thought the red, unripe berries were raspberries until he tried eating them. Unripe blackberries are very, very tart.
We had a burst of creativity this week. Helen and Gibson made some colorful crayons by melting broken pieces of crayon in a muffin tin.
Abe went a little crazy drawing Chibi guys. Chibi is a cute Japanese cartoon style where the figures have huge heads and tiny bodies. Here's a photo of some of the pictures Abe drew.

I like all of these fun crafty ideas. The crayons would be fun to make, and Helen's bag is so cute.
Abe has quite a collection of his drawings.
Smores are yummy to eat AND very fun to make. I like Gibson's technique.
Hi Becky! I admire so much the simplicity and consistency of your blog. Lesson today in Relief Society about keeping family history. I thought of you.
Hmm... in my family, I'm the one that eats the ones we pick, and Samuel saves them all (in fact, he doesn't eat any).
I like the crayon idea. I have too big a collection of broken crayons.
Abe is quite the aspiring artist!
Your kids are getting so grown up. Abe is quite the artist! I hope Sofi is enjoying soccer. Helen is such a pretty girl- I love the earrings. I can't believe Gibson is old enough for preschool.
