We have too many allergies to ever have pets, but Helen and Gibson enjoyed playing with a kitty who wandered into our yard for an afternoon.
Sofi gets some pet time by taking our neighbor's dog, Lily, for a walk a few times a week. Becky is not fond of Lily, but Sofi insists that the German shepherd is a sweet scaredy cat.
Our Thursdays are a little nutty this fall. When Becky leaves to pick up Abe, Helen and Gibson from school, she feels like she's packing for a weekend trip. She takes a bag of snacks and water bottles, a bag of books for Gibson to look at during music lessons, Abe's piano books, Helen's violin and violin books, a craft bag with a project to work on during lessons and practice (currently crocheted snowflakes), a bag of soccer gear for Abe and Gibson and Abe's guitar so he can practice along the way. Our schedule will get better when soccer ends in November.
Hip, hip hooray for Helen and Gibson who both learned how to tie their shoes this week!

It's so fun when siblings can learn things together. I don't look forward to the day my kids start soccer!
