We made cookies on Veterans' Day and delivered them to some of our neighbors who are veterans. We also attended a memorial service in the morning. It's funny how 9 am (the time the memorial service started) feels like the crack of dawn if there's no school.
Abe started building a robot this week from a kit. It's fairly complicated with lots of tiny parts. The photo shows Abe putting the controller together.
Gib's buddy, Ethan, moved to Seattle this week. They have had a lot of fun together the past year. We will miss their whole family. We're hoping to meet up next summer for a backpacking trip.
Here's a photo of our Thankful Turkey. He's looking pleasingly plump. Thanksgiving feels like a season this year, not just a day. We've had lots of opportunities to count our blessings.
