Sofi made a model of a plant cell for her biology class entirely of edible materials-- cake, frosting, fondant and candy.
Halloween was the highlight of our week. Gibson dressed up as Sky Hawk Warrior, a character from Poptropica, a computer game he likes to play.
Abe went as a Scottish dude. A very handsome Scottish dude. He came down with strep throat on Halloween so his holiday was a little less wonderful.
Helen went as Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series (books, not movies.) Annabeth has a magic New York Yankees baseball cap that makes her invisible.
Brandan wore his Inspector Clousseau costume to work.
Sofi dressed up as Miss Havisham again for school. We didn't meet up with her until evening so we don't have a photo of her from Halloween. This is a photo of Sofi on Friday, dressed as Dorothy Parker for an English project. Dorothy Parker was a writer in the 1920s and is famous for her witty sayings like, "I've never been a millionaire, but I just know I'd be darling at it."
