Happy Thanksgiving! We made a hand turkey to give thanks for a few of our blessings.
We started our Thanksgiving morning at the Turkey Trot. Abe came in third place overall for the 2 mile race.
Helen ran with her friends Sophie, Clea and Clara.
Brandan, Abe and Gibson played football for a couple of hours after the race.
Abe used running water from the sink to carve a piece of ice into a reindeer shape.
Brandan worked on Friday and the kids only wanted to watch television so Becky went hiking by herself. She didn't have to go very far to run into snow which felt magical.
Our troop is holding its last court of honor on December 18. Gibson is working hard to complete one more merit badge before then: cooking. He made a menu and shopping list this week and found the price for all his planned meals at the grocery store.
Helen met some friends at the mall to start on some Christmas shopping. From the left are Lily, Clara, Sophie, Roberta, Helen, Paige and Chayton.
