Sofi is home for Christmas break! She took the rest of the kids to lunch on Monday.
Our friend, Andrea, invited our kids to play music at a retirement home with her piano students. Abe and Gibson played a duet of Silent Night.
The kids ended the recital singing Christmas carols.
Gibson is going to join a community scout troop now that our church troop has ended. The new troop has a tradition of cooking and serving a pancake breakfast at St. Vincent de Paul's on Christmas Eve. It was great way to meet the troop and serve the community at the same time.
Gibson spent most of the morning serving pancakes. The older boys cooked the food, the younger ones served and everyone pitched in to clean up.
Here's our second round of Christmas cookies. Sofi showed us if we took the heads off of angel cookies, they look like Yoda.
Abe used biscuit cutters to make a BB-8 cookie.
We celebrated Christmas Eve with our traditional nativity play.
It was Abe's turn to put Baby Jesus in the Manger.
Abe, Helen, Sofi and Gibson wore matching pajamas on Christmas Eve.
It's been a blessed holiday, with lots of fun ahead.
