BIS held their annual honors night on Tuesday. Gibson received the Principal's Award for his healthy GPA.

He was back on stage later in the evening as one of the BIS LEADS awards recipients.

Here's a photo of Gib with Ed and Shaun after the ceremony. Gib is a rock solid student. He works hard, is curious and motivated and likes learning.

Our next door neighbor, Jayden, got married in Utah this week and Abe got to attend the wedding and reception. He reunited with 3 of the boyz for the event. From the left are Abe, Spencer, Malakai and Camden. Jayden and Kaeli were married in the Saratoga Springs temple.

This is a photo of Abe and Jayden.

These are all boys from Central Point: Camden, Malakai, Spencer, Jayden, Nate, Abe, Hunter, Colton and Josh. And yes, Nate does play basketball (at the University of Oregon.)

Sparkler send off for the bride and groom.

Our neighbor, and Jayden's dad, Matt tore his meniscus right before the wedding. Camden just had surgery to repair his ACL. The pair sported matching crutches at the wedding.

Abe enjoyed spending time with Spencer and Camden while they were in town.

Here's another photo of Abe and friends.

Meanwhile, Sofi and Nate spent the week in Denmark. This is a photo of a hostel they stayed in in Copenhagen. Guests each get a pod to sleep in.

This is a photo of a different hostel This time their pod was the size of a queen size bed.

Sofi sent a photo outside the temple in Copenhagen. Nate's mission president and his wife are currently serving as temple president and matron in Copenhagen.

We were delighted to get a video call from Sofi on Friday. Sofi and Nate were walking back to their hotel in Alborg and we got to see a bit of the surrounding streets.

On Friday Becky got to participate in the school wide Lip Dub video, a beloved Renaissance tradition. This is the last year Renaissance will exist. The three smalls schools at Crater are recombining into one traditional high school. There are good things about the change, but losing traditions like this make the change bittersweet.

Becky will be forever grateful for the two years she spent teaching at Renaissance. It's a wacky school with a big heart.

Helen painted this.

Helen went rafting on the Weber River on Saturday. She is sitting next to Brig in this photo.

Here's another photo of the rafters.

Gibson and Jason helped the Thurmans cover their cherry trees with netting to save the fruit from the birds.

Here they are enjoying ice cream after working in the yard. From the left are Grace, Ed, Adia. Jason and Gib.

The Rogue Valley Youth Symphony had their spring concert series this weekend. On Saturday they performed at SOU.

The spring concert had an excellent selection of music, with composers spanning from the 1700s to a brand new piece commissioned by YSSO this year.

On Sunday afternoon the symphony played at the Craterian.

Here they are taking a bow at the end of a fantastic concert. They ended with a stunning performance of the William Tell overture. The symphony took a hit (as most things did) during covid and took a couple of years to rebuild. This concert announced that they have roared back to life.

Jason, Ed and Grace came to see the concert.

Helen's friends are beginning to leave on missions. They met up for Paige's mission farewell today. From the left are TJ, Kristen, Helen, Paige, Brig and Ivy.
