2 June 2024

Becky's class just finished a trigonometry unit. One of our activities was an art project to illustrate radians.

Gibson built an adjustable table at school and it is the right height for a bedside table.

Helen finished her first week as an orientation leader. She had the fun experience of having Salem, her cousin, in her group. Salem just graduated from high school and is planning on majoring in psychology.

Here's a photo of Helen and some of the other orientation leaders. From the left to right are Vicky, Makenna, Saloni, Helen, Arden and Sadie.

Abe flew in on Wednesday night for a quick visit. He left Thursday morning to drive to Moses Lake to visit his girlfriend, Cece.

Moses Lake is just down the road from Wenatchee so Abe and Cece visited Sofi and Nate. They had dinner together and then went for a walk along the Columbia River.

On Saturday Abe and Cece drove to Central Point, with a detour to Florence, Oregon to the beach.

Helen woke up at 5:30 am on Sunday and hiked up Mount Wire behind the U, This is a view from the fire lookout at the top of the mountain.

Here's another view from the trail.

It's wonderful having Abe and Cece home for a few days. Gibson loves having two buddies to hang out with. This photo is from Sunday afternoon. Gibson played the piano while Cece sang.
