| In celebration of our 30th anniversary and our new status as empty nesters, we are 5 days into a two week trip to Italy. We arrived in Venice this afternoon following 3 magical days in Rome. We'll post far too many photos and share all of our adventures when we get home. This is a photo of our schedule. |

| The next two photos are of us enjoying dinner in Rome, and are a good representation of the food we have enjoyed so far: simple and delicious ingredients, perfectly prepared. Brandan is enjoying bruschetta made of fresh tomatoes, olive oil and salt on toasted bread. |

| Here is our main course. Becky has pizza bianca with gorgonzola and walnuts. Brandan also has pizza bianca, topped with thinly sliced meat, parmesan and arugula. So good! |
