Helen's violin teacher has 2 cats. During Helen's lesson this week, Gib crawled around the floor, looking under chairs and bookshelves for the little toy mice the cats like to play with. He found about 20 of them. He lined them up on a chair to "attack" one of the cats.
The cat, Mister, wisely retreated to the top of a bookshelf.
Helen moved up to a half size violin this week. Look at the itty bitty violins above Helen's head! It's hard to remember how small her 1/10 size violin was when she started playing. The 1/10 size is 2nd from the corner over Helen's head.
Abe received a Ramtastic award at school this week. Each trimester every teacher picks a student who is consistently safe, respectful and responsible. In an email to let us know Abe was getting the award, his teacher wrote that Abe "is a great overall person and student with an amazing work ethic, consistency and sense of humor."
We've had a beautiful fall this year. Helen raked herself a pile of leaves to play in.
Abe learned how to make spiky origami balls this week. The first one was a challenge, but now he can make one in less than an hour. Each ball is made of 12 interlocking pieces of paper.

Playing catchup on your last 3 blogs... I think Sofi had on about 10 different costumes? Very fun to see her transform so much. I love the leaf picture with Helen. Poor Abe, getting sick! How fun that Brandan dressed up for Halloween even to work!
