31 October 2021

Helen invited us to build temples for Come Follow Me last week as we talked about the importance of temples. From the left are Brandan's, Helen's, Becky's and Gib's.

The youth symphony is getting ready for their first recital. This is a photo of the cello section rehearsing this week. The symphony is quite particular about position. Gibson is stand 3, inside.

Malakai left for his mission on Monday. His first assignment is in Culver City, California. We saw him off at the airport. This is a photo with his mom, Angela, and dad, Colin. Now all of Abe's friends are serving in the mission field.

For family night we finished the jigsaw puzzle we started during general conference.

Here's the finished puzzle, showing the Kirtland, Nauvoo, Manti and Salt Lake temples. It had a lot of fun details and colors.

The Young Women had a Halloween party Wednesday night. Helen went as a pirate.
Front row: Beka, Cindy and Annie.
Middle row: Nikki, Elise, Luci, Kate, Olivia and Helen. Back row: Alli, Mary and Emma.

Helen went to the Crater football game Friday night. This week the theme was camo. Here's a photo of Helen and Aunika after the game.

Helen went to DQ after the game with some friends. Clockwise starting on the left: Riley, Aunika, Kenzie, Kellen, Carter, Kennedy, Helen and Erin.

The three wards in our building held a Halloween carnival and trunk or treat on Saturday night. The activities were planned for Primary aged kids. The youth helped run the activities. Becky coaxed Gib into taking a photo with this cool Frankenstein's monster cutout.

Our ward's youth made a fishing pond. Here are Gibson and Eddy.

Gibson drew this squid.

Helen drew a fish.

After the carnival, Gibson, Jason, Ed and Gib came back to our house to carve pumpkins.

This is their pumpkin version of Mount Rushmore. From the left are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
