On Sunday night we had the missionaries over for dinner, then we decorated Christmas cookies while we watched the First Presidency Christmas devotional together.
Here's Helen decorating her cookies.
Elder Jensen has excellent piping skills.
Nothing says Christmas like a dalek cookie!
Gibson turned a candy cane cookie into a green Peppa the Pig.
Friday was our ward Christmas party, complete with dinner and a nativity play by the Primary. It's good to be back together!
On Saturday we ran the Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K. We picked Daniel and Ed up so they could run it with us. The kids didn't want to wear ugly sweaters, but Ed wore ugly gloves.
Here are Daniel, Ed, Gibson and Helen after the race.
After everyone had a shower, we met back at our house along with Jason to make gingerbread houses.
Gibson made a fortress with a tiny fire on the roof.
Helen made a classic European style house. Here she is giving her house a dusting of snow. After some technical difficulties, Daniel and Ed turned their house into a tent.
This is Helen's finished house.
