| Two National Guard recruiters, SSG Brandon Ellis and SSG Garrett Wasson, visited Construction Math on Thursday. They spent most of each class presenting careers in the National Guard and then let the students try out night vision goggles and took them in rides in their humvee. They were very entertaining and a great fit for the students. |

| The humvee was pretty spare inside. The military is replacing humvees with vehicles with better armor and communication capabilities, but the National Guard keeps theirs for training exercises and show-and-tell like this. |

| Becky took a turn riding around the parking lot, too. The ride was smoother than she expected. |

| We took a quick hike to the top of Upper Table Rock in the fog and rain. There wasn't any kind of view, but the company was first rate. |
