13 April 2025

Gibson and Adia went to prom on Saturday night. Gib wore charcoal, Adia wore black and they accessorized with pink.

Here they are with Adia's twin sister, Layla, and her date, Tristan.

Gibson and Adia made themselves Chicken Caesar Salad for dinner at our house.

Becky and Brandan had another snowshoeing adventure on Saturday at Crater Lake. The weather was completely different from our experience in January. This is photo of the hikers putting their snowshoes on. There were so many hikers that the rangers divided us into two groups.

Some parts of the hike resembled March of the Penguins as we made a single file line across the snow.

A highlight of the hike was sliding down a steep slope on our stomachs. Then we especially resembled penguins.

Crater Lake was the crown jewel of the hike. Simply breathtaking.

We hiked with our friends, Vicki and Alan. It will take a few more months for the snow at Crater Lake to melt.

Becky's construction math classes have been building models of roof trusses to practice using trigonometry. We built rough drafts out of fettuccine and then followed up with a scale model built with wooden coffee stirrers.

Abe and friends participated in a city-wide service project helping homeowners with yard projects.

Ashton's grandparents are serving a service mission in Provo and were in charge of the event. From the left are Malakai, Camden, Abe, Annette, Spencer and Jake.

Helen attended a town hall with Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
